INDIAN MANAGEMENT & TECHNICAL SOCIETY (IMTS) is a grassroot level Non-Govt., Non-Profit, Non-Political organization established in 1992, works for the development of deprived and marginalized people & tribals in the remotest areas of Odisha. The organization is registered under Societies Registration Act XXI 1860 in the year 1992 & FCRA Act 1976 in the year 1998. With a vision of facilitating a society where communities are able to make their own choices, meet their survival needs and lead a self-reliant and sustainable life with dignity.
With the process of work, IMTS is giving top priority to Education, Health, Natural Resource Management (NRM), Women Empowerment, Vocational Training, Child Rights, Micro entrepreneurship, Mother & Child Health, Youth activities, Environment & Forest, strengthening local self governance, Plantation, Promotion of Medicinal Plant, Community Based Rehabilitation of persons with disability, Older Persons, Exclusion issues, Relief Rehabilitation & Disaster Management and Counseling & providing referral services to persons living with HIV, inclusion of PWDs, Slum Dwellers, Animals etc. Special emphasis is also given for the protection of the rights of the excluded communities like child labor, tribals, adolescent girls, differently able, youths etc.
